March 15:

• Deadline for filing Homestead applications
• If any personal property is not listed on or before March 15th , but on or before April 15th, when such property is assessed there shall be added to the assessed valuation of such property a mandatory penalty of 10% of the assessed value.

January 1st - March 15th

• Listing of all taxable real and personal property in the county.
• Accept applications for additional homestead exemptions.
• Accept applications for senior valuation freeze.

1st Monday in April:

• A taxpayer may file a appeal if the valuation of property has not increased or decreased from the previous year if the appeal is filed on or before the first Monday in April. Such appeal shall be made upon a form prescribed by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
