The Oklahoma County Board of County Commissioners held its regular meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Oklahoma County Office Building, 320 Robert S Kerr Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, Room 204. The meeting is open to the public and was live streamed on the county’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz_5jEcl6kV8f6Y71exwfJA.

Key Items for Discussion/Approval:

Financial Approvals and Reports:

  • Review and approval of all claims, purchase orders, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
    • Approval of AffirmedRX and UMR medical benefit payments.

  • Community Recognitions and Proclamations:

    • Approval to surplus, transfer, or auction various county vehicles, equipment, and electronics, including skid steers and trucks.
    • Discussion of inventory updates for Oklahoma County Districts and the SHINE Program.
    • Proclamation declaring Wednesday, November 13, 2024, as World Diabetes Day.

  • Intergovernmental Agreements:
    • Approval of interlocal agreements with the cities of Warr Acres and Del City to support law enforcement collaboration.

  • Executive Session:
    • Confidential discussions on pending legal matters and property acquisitions related to the new detention center site.
