FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 26, 2024 OKLAHOMA CITY – On June 24, 2024, a jury was empaneled to hear the case against Everado Rodriguez who was charged with the following counts:
The jury returned a verdict of guilty on all eight counts and recommended a life sentence for each plus a $10,000 fine.
On July 11, 2022, Del City police were contacted by OU Children’s Hospital in reference to a (then) 14-year-old disclosing that her biological father made her touch him in a sexual manner on multiple occasions between 2021 and 2022. She reported that not only would he make her masturbate him, but he would also rub his penis on her vaginia, inserting in on two occasions, and touched her breasts.
Rodriguez was arrested on June 29, 2023, and has been in custody since that time. Rodriguez will be formally sentenced on August 20, 2024.
